Underwater Tarot Deck
As someone who has a fascination for bioluminescent creatures and other underwater creatures, I decided to allow my interest to grow into a full tarot cards desk. I pulled the color palette from various nudibranchs to pay homage to the luminescent organisms. The ink drawings were first rendered by hand, and then scanned and colored with Photoshop watercolor brushes. By using this palette and watercolor style, it evokes a sense of fluidity that emulates the feeling of being underwater. The cards are based off of the Ryder-Waite tarot deck.
